'Eye-catcher': zwarte Licor Manco Capac fles

Een prachtige oude Spaanse drank fles, in de vorm van het hoofd van Manco Capac, een hoogstaand figuur binnen het Inca Emperium in de 16e eeuw. Gecreeërd van gedetailleerd zwart glas.
Toen in deze eeuw de Spanjaarden zich richtten op verovering van de Nieuwe Wereld en zo ook het Inca rijk doelwit werd was vermoedelijk de stad Machu Picchu (in Peru) het laatste toevluchtsoord van de Incas. De Inca (dit is van oorsprong de titel van de leider en niet de naam van het volk) Atahualpa was door de Spanjaarden gedood en zijn broer Manco Capac en diens drie zonen waren zijn opvolgers en verbleven in deze stad.

A beautiful, intricately detailed old Spanish liqueur bottle, in the shape of the head of Manco Capac, a highly ranked figure within the Inca Empire in the 16th century.
When in this centure the Spaniards set their mind to conquering the New World and in so doing amongst others targeted the Inca kingdom, it is presumed that the city of Machu Picchu (in Peru) offered the last remaining place of refuge for the Inca's. The Inca (this is originally the title of the leader and not of the people) Atahualpa was executed by the Spaniards and his successors - his brother Manco Capac along with his three sons - resided in this city.
This bottle series (smaller bottles were also made) is produced by Distillerias Morey, SA.



Formaat: c.a. 26 cm (lengte)
Bijzonderheden: Gebruikte staat. Een klein scherfje van het glas aan de onderkant van de onderlip en een oppervlakkige scherf van het glas aan de bovenkant van de opening van de fles. De fles is leeg, kurk is niet meer aanwezig.
